Description: Cask Gin is based on Mosgaard’s Dry Gin which is distilled and reduced from 60% ABV. then put in ex. Bourbon and Ex. Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks and aged for 8-9 months. The Whiskey and Sherry casks provide sweetness, vanilla, and caramel notes, that match citrus and juniper notes, and the dry gin is transformed into cask gin.
Cask gin can be enjoyed with coffee, used for a dry Martini, or with Oh Deer ginger beer mixer and crushed ice as a long drink.

Description: Apples and gin is the perfect cocktail – Especially when you use the oldest Danish apple which also comes from South Funen. Filippa can do something that other apples can not, it is spicy, sweet, and has a fresh acid after harvest. Filippa is a gin innovation where the finished distilled gin draws out the flavour from the fresh Filippa apple pieces. Once the apples have finished this process they need to be distilled separately and added to the gin – which gives a creamy and soft taste of spicy fresh apples.

Description: Old Tom Gin is the Mosgaard tribute to the old sweetened gin style “Old Tom”. It has a balance of flowers that creates a sweetness that is enhanced with organic caramel which is the Mosgaard reinterpretation of the classic style. The combination gives a fantastic scent that matches the taste.
The history of the Old Tom style dates back to the Prohibition era in England in the 18th century when the British government had banned gin production and sales in order to put an end to drinking. The gin sale was therefore carried out in secret, where signs with an old male cat “Old Tom Cat” showed the way to secret outlets of the popular sweetened gin. Today, Old Tom gin has become a gin style with gin that can be sweetened with either botanicals or organic cane sugar – or as in Mosgaard Old Tom Gin a combination that reinforces each other.
Old Tom Gin can be enjoyed with a mild tonic over ice.
